PILOT CADETSHIP

Since 2024, PT Mitra Aviasi Perkasa has launched the Pilot Cadetship Program in collaboration with our partner airlines. This innovative and industry-aligned program provides a complete pilot training pathway, covering Ab Initio Training, Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine Rating (MER), Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Theory, as well as Type Rating and Line Training—all designed to meet the specific operational requirements of each partner airline.

What makes this program unique is its financial flexibility: cadet pilots are required to pay only 50% of the total training cost upfront, with the remaining 50% deferred until after employment with a partnering airline is secured. This model significantly reduces the financial burden for cadets, making high-quality pilot training more accessible, while also supporting airlines in developing a steady pipeline of skilled, job-ready pilots. By integrating Type Rating and Line Training, the program ensures that cadets are not only licensed but also fully prepared to transition smoothly into operational roles within the airline, in accordance with global aviation standards. This approach addresses the ongoing global pilot shortage by offering a sustainable and scalable solution that benefits both aspiring pilots and airlines alike.
