PT Mitra Aviasi Perkasa was established in 2012 by Septo Adjie Sudiro, driven by his vision and the rapid development of the global and Indonesian aviation industries. Recognizing the urgent demand for skilled, qualified, and job-ready pilots and technicians, he founded the company to help bridge this gap. Since its inception, PT Mitra Aviasi Perkasa has successfully developed Perkasa Flight School into the first and only international Flight school in Indonesia. Today, Perkasa Flight School stands as the fastest growing institution of its kind and ranks among the top Flight schools with the highest number of graduates over the past 12 years.

In response to the continued growth of the aviation industry, PT Mitra Aviasi Perkasa (MAP), through Perkasa Flight School, launched the Pilot Cadetship Programme an initiative offering 50% deferred payment, payable once cadets secure employment with a partner airline. In 2020, MAP successfully obtained the General Aviation Operation Certificate (OC91), allowing the company to expand into various aerial work services, including but not limited to aerial surveys (photogrammetry and LiDAR), air patrol operations, joyflights, medevac missions, and executive-level Private Pilot License (PPL) training. In the same year, MAP also introduced an innovative Aircraft Shared Ownership or Fractional Ownership program, which attracted strong interest from both domestic and international clients. Currently, PT Mitra Aviasi Perkasa is in the process of establishing an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) 135 through its subsidiary, PT Indo Aviasi Perkasa, further positioning the company for significant growth within the aviation sector.
